Description
2D Spring image of Kwanzan Cherry Blossoms on the grass with a related poem written by the photographer...
"Blossoms"
Fallen blossoms here abound,
Nature's beauty all around,
Spring arrives without a sound,
Then petals softly kiss the ground.

Lovely, Brian! The flowers in the photo appear to be the same "weeds" that serve as a beautiful ground cover on our lawn every spring, until the grass takes it over. They are so beautiful that we wouldn't dream of killing them off. I look forward each year to the display. And the bubble bees are crazy for it, and until our butterfly bushes start to bloom, they will grudgingly subsist on it, until flowers they like better come along. v/f

Thanks for your thoughtful response Paula. The blossoms on the ground are as the description says, "Kwanzan Cherry Blossoms" which when on the tree are clumps of beautiful pink blossoms. They actually inspired me to write the short poem I embedded into the image.
